Founded in 2002 by entrepreneur Susanne Klatten, the non-profit UnternehmerTUM GmbH is the leading center for start-ups and innovation in Europe with more than 50 high-growth technology start-ups every year - including Celonis, Konux, Lilium and Isar Aerospace.

KIT is the research university of the Helmholtz Association. The mission of KIT is to create and impart knowledge for society and the environment - through outstanding achievements from basic research to application on a broad disciplinary basis in natural and engineering sciences, as well as economics and social sciences. As a major scientific institution, KIT competes internationally and is one of the leading institutions in Europe.

The Pioneer Garage

The Pioneer Garage is a university group at KIT that supports students in founding their own start-up and accompanies them in the process. It regularly organizes start-up-related events and is a contact point for young founders at KIT. The international GROW competition awards prizes to the best start-up ideas and brings young founders and VCs together.

TUM Carbon Removal

TUM Carbon Removal is a non-profit student initiative at UnternehmerTUM and is working on the decarbonization of our atmosphere by developing a chemical-technological process for the direct capture of CO2 from the air (Direct Air Capture). This involves extracting CO2 from the air using large filter systems, binding it chemically and storing it temporarily in dry ice. The first pilot plant will be built on the campus in Garching in 2025.

House Rissen

Haus Rissen is an educational institution of the City of Hamburg that promotes a free, plural and democratic society with its educational program. As part of its youth education program, Haus Rissen offers students the opportunity to simulate a UN conference and slip into the shoes of diplomats with its simulation game of the United Nations (SVEN).
